Liberation Dynamics Training

£1,500.00

In our book, States of Mind, we consider how adults and young people can work together to build education and mental health approaches that shift away from standardisation, coercion and competition to embrace “Liberation Dynamics”. We offer training to develop a clear understanding of what these mean. This is not a copy and paste, linear methodology, but a set of ideas that can support us to decondition ourselves from ideologies and pedagogies that harm and invite authentic practices that foster freedom, relationships, creativity and collective action.

Sessions can  be delivered online or face-to-face, to individuals or organisations, which might include schools, colleges, universities, local authorities, charities or social enterprises. The following areas will be covered, at a cost of £6000 for an organisation and £1500 for individuals.

  1. Self-awareness

  2. Addressing value conflicts

  3. Disidentification

  4. Reducing power imbalances

  5. From ‘pupil voice’ to co-construction

  6. Collective sense-making

  7. Exploring the context

  8. Feedback and meaningful action
