This workshop explores the biology of stress, together with the psychological effects that stress has in our lives.
Young people will be introduced to stress reduction methods and ways of improving self care.
WORKSHOP 3: ADDICTION
This workshop explores the brain mechanisms involved in addiction and psychosocial explanations for addictive behaviour.
This workshop explores what depression is, how depression is linked to a sense of a meaning and purpose and provides ways of responding to the experience of depression in our lives.
WORKSHOP 5: MINDFULNESS
This workshop provides an introduction to mindfulness as a way of developing resilience, reducing stress and enhancing our minds.
